Meet Sarah
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who has successfully treated individuals with a variety of emotional concerns and psychosocial challenges, as well as couples who have been affected by these issues. Sarah’s warm and inviting style allows her to successfully form a therapeutic bond with clients as she strives to empower them to achieve optimal mental health and personal recovery. Her areas of focus range from working with people who have experienced severe trauma to working with people who struggle with day-to-day stress and anxiety. Sarah has extensive experience in the treatment of trauma and is a certified EMDR therapist. She has worked closely with a dual diagnosis population, including providing individual and group therapy to adults with mental illness and substance abuse, with an emphasis on underlying trauma and relationship issues. Additionally, she has advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health and takes a special interest in working with mothers, supporting them as they navigate the many changes of pregnancy and motherhood and their impact on one's sense of self. Sarah takes a collaborative approach to counseling and provides a strong therapeutic alliance to guide you toward setting and achieving meaningful therapy goals.
